Migration Law: Democratic Welfare State versus Universal Human Rights
The overarching question in the research programme Migration Law deals with the boundaries that are set by human rights norms with regard to the possibility of regulating migration, at the national level as well as on an European and international level. Within the programme several issues are subjects of research: asylum and refugee law, family law and the concept of citizenship. Also the procedural aspects of migration law are addressed.
