Liesbeth is trained both as a lawyer and as a psychologist specializing in methods of psychological research (B.Sc., M.Sc., University of Amsterdam, both cum laude). Before joining VU University Amsterdam, Liesbeth practiced law as an attorney for ten years (Kennedy Van der Laan, Amsterdam).
