Onderzoeksactiviteiten
Maybritt Jill Alpes verricht onderzoek in het programma ‘Migration Law as Family Matter’. Haar onderzoeksproject is gericht op ‘The governance of migration and development and the global distribution of social risks and care needs between states, families and individuals’.
Het onderzoek gaat over de vraag hoe migrerende zorgverleners, hun familie en de verzendende en ontvangende staten verschillend omgaan met zorgbehoeften en sociale risico’s.  Door ook de spelers op de markt te bestuderen, wil het project de vormen van sociale zekerheid die buiten de regelingen door staten of familienetwerk bestaan ontdekken.
