The programme consists of 3 compulsory courses with a study load of 24 EC, optional courses (18 EC) and a thesis (18 EC). In addition to the compulsory components in the programme, students can choose optional components with a minimum study load of 18 EC.

If you do not have a sufficient background in international relations theory or public international law, the faculty strongly recommends taking the optional courses International Relations Theory or Public International Law.

Compulsory courses (24 EC)

Students from the master Law and Politics of International Security must take the following compulsory courses
