Exchange courses

Exchange students are required to choose from the list of courses mentioned below. All of these courses are provided in English. An active command of the English language is a prerequisite. Students should choose courses up to a minimum of 24 ECTS per semester, but are advised to take up to 30 ECTS i.e. a full-time programme.

Those who have good knowledge of the Dutch language can also enrol for courses in the regular Dutch programme. Dutch language courses can be taken at the Department Dutch as a Second Language at VU Amsterdam.

After completion the student will receive a transcript of records. The original will be sent to his/her home address and a copy to the home university.

In June 2012 the new courses for the coming academic year will be published in the Study Guide. For the time being you can contact the international officer at your home university for our course information and refer to the information in the Study Guide for 2011-2012.
