VU University Amsterdam Centre for Law and Governance (VU CLG) is the research centre of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Faculty of Law, concerning the relationship between public and private interests.The research centre has three research programmes.

- Grondrechten, regulering en de verantwoordelijke overheid (in Dutch)
- Maatschappelijke organisaties, ondernemingen en het recht (in Dutch)
The VU Centre for Law and Governance operates together with the Groningen Centre for Law and Governance. In conjunction, they coordinate the Netherlands Institute for Law and Governance (NILG). The NILG offers an open research platform to further investigation into the crucial balance between public and private interests in all their respective ramifications. Third parties are explicitly invited to participate in the NILG.
